Copper Rust

Application:

When your object is clean apply one even coat of one of the rusts above. Stop when you reach a neutral to light plating of copper. If you reach a darker pink-copper it will begin to chip off meaning the coat was too thick.

Let the activating agent completely air dry. Once its dry, coat with water to increase the intensity of the rust. Let dry and repeat water coating until the desired rust is achieved. No need to give a 2nd coat of activating agent.

While still wet with water, go in with one layer of "Rust Arrest" to neutralize chemical reactions. Rinse with water, dry and seal with an acrylic sealer (Matte or Gloss).
